Thought provoking Friday
Written by on Friday, May 2, 2008 – 4:43 pm -I thought I would try something new today. I did a search for “bizarre” on Flickr just to see what would come back in the search results. It is interesting to understand why people tag things the way they do, and like beauty, bizarre is in the eye of the beholder. When I first saw this photo, I first thought human brain, then I thought bubble then I thought horses (do not ask me why on this one). What thoughts does this provoke for you?

You aren’t as odd as you might think. I see horses but not brain. Kaleidoscope… but that seems unoriginal… a tornado in Oz.

Whew, and for a minute there I thought I was a little off the deep end :-). I like the tornado is Oz, did not think of that one. Perhaps that is because I am not from Kansas.

About the only thing I have in common with Oz is that I like red shoes. Mexico is far from Kansas.

I, too, see the horses!!! Whatever it is, it is beautiful. But, as you say, like beauty, bizarre is in the eye of the beholder. As for OZ - it’s everwhere, it’s everwhere - y’all

It might be a family thing that you 2 see horses and not all of us are crazy, just the 2 of you, I guess that I’m not related to either of you. :O) I can see Oz and even a tornado but not horses.
